Getting Rich Isnt a Bad Idea

You've seen plenty of articles claiming to offer you the secret to getting rich. Some ideas, however, are thin veneers covering some scheme that often involves multi-level marketing or a service with questionable intents.

Recently I discovered a site and an individual who, well, tells it like it is. When you visit (http://www.makedanielrich.com ) you will find a web site operated by a young man who wants you to participate in his pursuit of the American dream. How can you make Daniel rich?

First of all, you can buy his "Make Daniel Rich" merchandise. T-shirts and stickers are the main offerings. Each product boldly encourages people to "Make Daniel Rich." The products are offered through cafepress.com.

Second, you can make a donation. Some people might make a one-time donation; others might choose to provide continuing funds for this young entrepreneur. People make donations to all sorts of things they know nothing about, so why not donate to help someone achieve his dreams?

Third, you soon will be able to subscribe to Daniel's pod cast in which he will provide commentary on today's news and other items of interest.

Maybe you are skeptical about such a business idea. I asked the marketing director for a major record label to reflect on the idea. He praised the idea as ingenious and then ordered a shirt to show his support.

In a world where people want to trick you out of your money, it is refreshing to see a young man with a plan that sets him apart from others who are trying worn out approaches to marketing.

What university would teach such forward-thinking approaches to marketing? That's the cool part of this story. You see, Daniel attended college for a while but never completed his degree. He told me that he didn't see schools offering new ways to solve problems and he wasn't interested in learning old ways that never worked the first time around. So, today he works for a music distributor offering his revolutionary marketing ideas to a company that believes trying something new isn't a bad thing!

Now I bet you're wishing you had thought up this idea, huh? Think about it!
