An Amazing, Hazy Look Into The Future

Sometimes we all sit and think. Sometimes we doodle with a pen.

Simple Words

The words, the thoughts, the processes go on and on.As simple as it may seem to me I tend to feel that all words have their own meaning and not always the dictionary form.

What Is Destiny? Is There Some Thing Called Free Will?

One of the greatest and everlasting debates of humanity has been about the role of destiny in the lives of human beings. There was a time when it was almost an accepted fact of life that each and every event was governed by destiny of human beings.

Raindrops Keep Falling On My Web

I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn't photograph them. The probability of that obviously is very low but laws of probability have often been known to falter at the crucial test of reality.

DNA, Fiction and Society; How it Affects Thought

A book called the Seven Daughters of Eve by Richard Sykes is worthy of a read and talks about what we have learned about the flow of human beings populations through DNA research. Thus it is safe to say that certain members of our species have developed differently and in different ways, meaning the brain also learns differently.

Desire is the First Step

When a member of a species determines it wants something a thought is born, which triggers a desire and thus starts the brain into a cycle innovation and strategy. If it is hunger in a Bald Eagle it means flying over the river to catch a Salmon.

Culture and Knowledge

In eastern Cultures the passing of thought was considered valuable, so much in fact that even to this day members of those cultures respect their elders and listen to their advice. The passing of such thoughts and concepts and philosophies is of extreme value.

Humans Who Are Disrespected Seek Revenge

The easiest way to gain enemies is to disrespect people. Inherently for some reason; humans who are disrespected more often than not seek revenge.

Tempus Fugit and the Dollar Doesnt

Money is time, a commodity which can be used to gage worth in respect to the time needed to construct, design, build, assemble, mine or in other ways accomplish a task, the creation of a product, a skill, an idea or any materialistic value. The value of a dollar changes from moment to moment depending on who possesses it at any specific point in time.

Choice and Social Acceptance in Human Organizations

Let's discuss choice and social acceptance. I had the most interesting conversation the other day with a friend at a coffee shop.

Platos Atlantis: Fact, Fiction or Prophecy?

Atlantis is often described as paranormal or mythical, but is it really? In two of Plato's great works, the Timaeus and the Critias, Plato describes an Athenian civilization in diaglogue between Critias, Socrates, Timaeus and Hermocrates. (Predating Plato by 9,000 years, or 9,600 BC) Atlantis, according to Critias, was a great Athenian city which, by the hand of mankind, met with cataclysmic destruction.

Quotes to Think About

INSPIRATIONAL COMMENTS:"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation. - Herbert Spencer"Albert Einstein - "We are seeking for the simplest possible scheme of thought that will bind together the observed facts.

All That We Are... Are Labels

Within the confines of the known universe, a madness is present that taints all of the knowledge which every human being has aquired within their life, and within the lives of others.Nothing is as it seems, and it only seems that way because the human being has labeled it as such.

The Tree of Life and Allies

There are names in many languages and cultures or even within each culture, separate cults with different names for 'forces of nature'. Allies, guides, elementals, fairies, elves, gnomes, leprechauns and so the list would grow into the thousands.

The Cosmic Eggs

One of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World is reported (many years after all but the Great Pyramid had vanished) to be the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus. This great goddess has what many archaeologists and historians have interpreted to be nearly a thousand breasts on her body.

The Boss: Being Your Own Winner
We all love to achieve, but conceiving, believing it can happen and work, we do not want to do so much, especially when it is on an "I need to basis" instead of an "I want to basis". So, I will say this: For every mountain top we want to achieve and get up to, there is always work we need to do to get up there and achieve what we want that is genuinely on that mountain top.

God Or The Gun (An Indirect Sequel To The Malcolm X Speech "The Ballot Or The Bullet")
We can choose force and the ways of doing things in a way that "makes things happen quick", as in "get a gun and force things to happen through political power" as Chairman Mao of China once put it. Or we can produce results through productive prayer with action behind it based on genuine faith in ourselves and our strength of results. Let me explain myself:

The Thought That Brings Down The House And Changes Things
What if we were completely honest and realistic with ourselves and others? You see, the best things in life are the most realistic and honest when we really look at things with consciousness and conscience. I remember when my Dad Joe used to say his "pet idiom": "I do not play!" or his version of the old Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali poem "Float like a butterfly/sing like a bee/I do not play!"

Sometimes, God Needs Help Too, That Is An Apparent Reality
"God, to have created a crazy, messy world like this, needs help, self-help and everything that God can get!" At least that was what I was saying to myself and feeling this morning as I got angry at life itself. With that, I begin this article.

Two outstanding History books reviewed, three banned TED talks and more are put into a linked theme. Starting with Terry Jones and going on with renowned global figures, any of which could change your understanding of the World, you may wonder why you have not heard more of these before.

Atma Bodha Verses 21-30
Verse 21 Self enquiry is the prime means of Self knowledge. If you notice, there's only 'I' and everything else is 'this'. Scriptures refers the knowledge of 'I' as para vidya and 'this' as apara vidya or 'Atma, anatma' viveka.

The Back-Up Plan
Life is reincarnation consistently. What I mean is: It is like a refurbished used car at this point that is bought fixed up and made new even though it may have many miles on it. I mean, we have had many chances through much time of living, use and evolution to get it right ultimately. Indeed, existence itself is its own back-up plan and everything else means nothing, especially human laws and decrees on what works and what does not work.

Never Too Old To Dream, Never Too Young To Live In Reality
Happiness is what we genuinely make our minds up that it is. Also, winning, losing, quitting and persistence is what we make up as we go along through life. However, the only genuine "lost cause" or "found freedom" is between our ears a few inches across and through our heads.

The Midnight Lamp/The Night Shift
What happens after death? What happens to that few pounds of spirit that leaves the body after everything? Well, this article, I hope, will help a bit with that answer, but mostly we have to answer the question ourselves when the time comes.

Down Time, Up Time
Everything has a season and a reason. That is how I introduce this article. We all love good "up time" when it happens, and we live for it when it works for us. What about that "down time" where we have to train and work for the next "up time"? That is what this article is primarily about.

Be Strong! Be Brave! Be Beautiful!
We all start out to conquer the world. Some genuinely do in the deepest sense of it, in that they have perseverance and persistence instead of real innate talents that are "born with them". That is, they develop their talents instead of depending on what is born with them.

Pardon Me: What Is Greatness?
Greatness is living, thinking, being conscious, conscientious and genuinely realistic. But who wants that definition of greatness? To so many people, being great is flaunting reality and "living off the fat of the land without too much work for it".

God And The Devil
Wisdom or understanding is the only cure for bad cause and effect, and wisdom or understanding enhances good cause and effect. I call this article "God and The Devil" because of the simplicity of the forces involved, yet that ultimate complicated thing called life that makes things what they seem to be.

The Real House Of Detention (An Allegory)

The Exceedingly Simple Miracle
Gratitude. That is the exceedingly simple miracle of life. When you are grateful, everything, even the bad things work better. Who wants to admit that, though? the best of us do. That is what makes the best of us really tick as the best of us.

Never Mind My Politics, Here Is My Philosophy:
"Do life the best you can with the best profit you can get out of it." Sure, it sounds a little silly, but is it? I mean, life done the best you can in my estimation means just that: Do life the best you can do it without flinching, playing too many games or fearfully being fragile about it.

As Long As I Am The Light!
First off, I would like to start off with this: Good is the totality, and when evil does its thing too much, something is missing. As long as the lights are on in reality, we can see what is going on. When the lights are off, we are lost!

We All
We all love to win, but who loves to train? We all love the glory, but who loves the work to get it? Oh, I could come up with at least one hundred to two hundred excuses like these. What is the use though? We all deeply come up with more in our lives than I could mention in my paltry philosophical article.

Beneficial Thinking: The Only Right Way To Do It
This article may seem like more of an opinion than any facts that may be on the market, but, reality comes down to this in my portion of reality. Benefit of yourself and others is the only right way to do reality. What point is there to live any other way anyway?

The Vital Element
The vital element is honesty, fully integrated honesty to be exact. Without that element, everything is fuzzy math to be exact. I remember when I was a boy trying to understand and grasping, my Dad kept it pretty simple, yet it was the most complicated thing in the world: "Life is nothing if you are not honest with yourself, do not try to fool your own mind, you pay the ultimate price for it."
06/25/2019 03:28 PM
Prioritze! Your Life Depends On It
Do what is right, no matter what and you will get somewhere. With that dramatic quotation, and anecdote, I begin this article. Sure, we can all try to take short ways, and be subtly dishonest about everything, but there is always a price to pay or steps back taken unconsciously. Doing what is right and having honest character always takes you forward is what I mean.

Never A Winner Or Loser, Just A Player
There are not any winners or losers, just players in the game of life ultimately. Different forms, different ways, we all have the same luck, blessing, providence or whatever we may want to call it. With all that reality put out there into the universe, I begin this article.

The Life Sentence (Beyond Good Or Bad Luck, Fortune, Or Whatever)
Recently, I got very angry with my Mother, and rather despondent, discouraged, and weary. I realize that I am responsible for nobody other than myself in that sense, but, as all humans do at some time in their existence, I had a big lapse in judgement, and now I am paying the consequences in my soul, spirit and being.

Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 7 - Jnana Vijana Yoga

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6 - Part 2 - Dyana Yoga

Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 8 - Aksara Brahma Yoga
How can we remember God while we are engaged in work that needs our total attention? Anything that we do in our lives needs full attention. We need to stay focused and concentrate to achieve our goal without other distracting thoughts.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6 - Part 1
What is meditation and when do I meditate? Meditation is NOT an action. It is not a practice of a posture, a form of worship, a superimposition of an idea, repetition of a thought or mantra or a concentration exercise.

Mistrust First Impulses
Whom do you trust? If you are wise, you carefully select others in whom you give trust. If you are wiser, you verify the trustworthiness of those you select. One famous diplomat was said to have been mistrusted, yet his usefulness demanded the selection of him.

Being Ready And Getting Ready
"We all want to win. But, who loves to train?" I quote and say in so many articles. But, this article is a very special one that uses that quote: Think here! Reality seems like so much busted plumbing when we do not take decisive action or grasp opportunity with a passion. I know, I am there now. Indeed, though, I do not look at that reality as permanent, I look at that reality as part of the training for the time that I do seize the opportunity.

Not At Last, But At Best!
Quitting and retiring is something those of us who look at life as a job want to do, right? Well, I am here to say that reality gets better, not worse, the longer, smarter and better we work at what we really want to do. Recently, I heard from my Mother about a rich couple that committed suicide because they were not fulfilled from the outside with all the money and trappings that included. Well, I will say this:

Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 5 - Karma Sanyasa Yoga
Will not the worldly pleasures lead one to true happiness? Let us say you have a big bowl of ice cream in front of us and you can eat as much as we want. That's possible only if your taste buds are working, if you are in a pleasant mood to enjoy, you have some time to enjoy, you're in a nice place and you are not diabetic.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4 - Part II - Jnana Karma Sanyasa Yoga
What are the indications that spiritual practices are in progress in an individual? After consistent spiritual practice one can experience the reduction of likes & dislikes and all negative tendencies, emotions like anger, jealousy, hatred, animosity. The foremost if the elimination of fear leading to an experience of inner peace no matter what happens around that person with a sense of complete fulfillment and contentment on a continuous basis, Such a person is not perturbed at all by any situation or person for that one is not leaning on anything by himself.

The Miracle Of Seeing Loss As Temporary
I am dead serious when I say this: Considering the nature of energy, we lose nothing, it only changes. What I mean is, we all love to succeed, but if we do not, we get something better if we persevere and persist.

Divine Action and Extraordinary Events: Can Miracles Occur
Miracles! We can define them as Divine actions in violation of the normal regularities and laws of nature. But can they occur? Some philosophers and theologians argue they can not, or at least if they can humanity can not determine so. Let's look at some of these rather esoteric arguments, and see if they match common sense.

The Winner, The Loser, And The Break Even Artist
In life, you have spectators and participants, and everything in between, as in dualism, you have everything from top and bottom and what is in between that top and bottom. Indeed, this article is primarily about the participants who genuinely win, not the spectators who want to win without making the efforts of the participants.

The Story Of Everybody Or Everybody Has A Story
"In life, you never know what you are going to get unless you ask and ask well." That quote is my interpretation of the meaning of the work "The Kybalion" with the Emerald Tablet like, "As above, so below. As within, so without."

Patient As The Tortoise, But Thinking As Fast As The Hare Or Rabbit Considers Itself
I remember the old fable about the tortoise and the hare racing in the story books, and it always ends the same. The tortoise always wins because it never rests or takes things for granted, and the rabbit or hare always loses because of the assumption that it can win easily. Indeed, though, in this article I would like to flip the script a little bit:

This Is The Spotlight
Concentrated thought is the spotlight of reality. Without that, nothing happens, even the most basic actions.
