How to Get Listed in Yahoo Within 48 Hours, Without Paying $299

First of all you need to get a blog. If you don't have one yet, you can get one for free by going to www.blogger.com

If you want to see a blog in action you can check out my blog at http://marketing-design.blogspot.com

After you sign up for free, you can choose from a variety of templates and color schemes and start posting immediately. Blogging is essentially an online diary or a kind of forum where you publish your thoughts and allow readers to comment back if they want. Blogs tend to get indexed much faster by the search engines then regular sites especially if you update them a lot (which you should).

Make sure to put a lot of relevant content on the blog and keep keywords in mind just like with your regular website.

Okay so now you have a basic understanding of how a blog works. Once you have your blog up and running add some content and make sure that you links to the website url's that you want to be put into Yahoo.

? Go to Yahoo and sign up to get a free My Yahoo account.

? Then go to your blog and find the link to your own rss feed. It is under the settings part under 'site feed'. Copy this link to your clipboard.

? Go back to your My Yahoo account, click on the add content link. Next click on the little text link on the right of the box that says 'add rss by url'.

? On this next page, paste your rss link in the box and click the 'add' button and presto your blog will be shown on your My Yahoo page.

Thats all you have to do, the links from your website will be showing up in Yahoo within the next 1-2 days. You can check by going to Yahoo and typing in your url to see if it is listed yet.

It's that easy.

Happy blogging!
